Meet Rosco! Chief Creative Officer of the Lip Bar!

It's Women's History Month!
And to celebrate we're highlighting women who are
dominating in their fields and doing it while
unapologetically being themselves!
This month's campaign "Take the Mobb to Work"
shows the importance of impact of women and hoops
in the workplace and beyond.
So, without futher ado...
Meet Rosco Spears, Chief Creative Officer for the Lip Bar!

Being Creative Chief Officer
"Literally anything involving aesthetics, I'm doing it"
Rosco's day to day consists of developing visuals from store displays to graphics
to planning photo shoots. She describes the "fun part" of her job being the opportunities to travel to Detroit to be on set for shoots. She loves to interact
with her models, makeup artists, and the rest of the crew.
How Does Culture Affect How You Show Up for Work?
"I'm a black girl, and we're a black owned brand - it's been my priority to center black women"
Rosco appreciates the ability to show up as herself and creating new opportunities for other black women.
She references her gear (sneakers and big hoops)
"you can't do this everywhere, and that's why I love us" (The Lip Bar)

What Comes to Mind When You Think of Hoop Earrings?
"I think of black women, I think of our culture"
Rosco reminisces on growing up and wearing hoops throughout her life and career, she even mentions Northland Mall,
(if you know, you know 😂).
"I stay in a hoop earring - they make me feel good, they make me feel bossy, and they make me feel beautiful"
